NEPTUN Mix Systems – Bone Cement mixing Solutions for Orthopedics and Endoprosthetics
NEPTUN Mix Bowl
The NEPTUN Mix Bowl is designed for use in orthopedics and is suitable for both primary knee arthroplasty and complex revision procedures. Its special rotation axis mechanism ensures uniform mixing with low porosity and high homogeneity. Vacuum preparation guarantees consistent results in every application.
An ergonomically shaped spatula facilitates cement removal, while the included curette allows precise removal of excess material.
Components at a Glance
- Mixing bowl with rotational axis mechanism for preparing volumes of up to 120 g
- Ergonomic spatula
- Curette for material removal
NEPTUN Mix cartridge
The NEPTUN Mix cartridge system enables uniform bone cement mixing under vacuum in a compact format. The transparent cartridge allows visual monitoring of the mixing process, while a screw thread enables direct connection to the application gun.
An ergonomic T-handle ensures comfortable mixing, while the colored break point simplifies handling. The system is designed for up to 80 g of bone cement and is particularly suitable for standardised applications in daily surgical routines.
Components at a Glance
- Transparent cartridge for visual inspection
- Ergonomic T-handle
- Secure threaded connection to the application gun
- Color-coded break-off point for fast handling
- Femoral pressurizer
- Ampoule filter
- Flat knee nozzle
- Slim nozzle (Ø 9 mm) available separately
Vacuum Pump and Tubing System
Components:
- Footswitch for starting/stopping the pump
- Manometer for reliable vacuum monitoring
- Activated carbon filter for vapor absorption
- Clamp for secure fixation of the vacuum hose

The logically designed system, including the application gun, allows us to produce high-quality bone cement. It provides the surgeon with confidence and supports a highly reliable fixation of cemented prosthetic components. The reproducible result and ease of handling speak for themselves. We are fully convinced by the cartridge mixing system.”
